Industrial and Maintenance Staircases – Tank Shell Staircases
Tank shell staircases are a unique type of access system designed specifically for tanks. They are used exclusively in industrial facilities and are delivered to construction sites as individual components.
The connection plates used to secure the stair treads must be mounted (welded or anchored) directly onto the tank. After that, the lightweight, easy-to-handle elements – including stair treads, platforms, baluster posts, and handrails – are bolted together and assembled on site. Due to the welding required during assembly, all weld seams must be properly treated and preserved afterward.
